The Gates
After a multi-million pound refurbishment, The Gates Shopping Centre has been recently revitalised, creating a 200,000 sq ft venue which provides a fantastic shopping experience.
Located in the heart of Durham’s City Centre on the North side of the River Wear, it is increasingly attracting customers both from the local residents and tourists alike. The Centre is less than half a mile from the main train station, and boasts an award winning car park, making it extremely accessible. The city itself is served by an excellent park and ride system, which is viewed as the most convenient way to access the centre.
