Victoria Shopping Centre

The new £21.5m redevelopment of the existing mall is just one part of the town’s regeneration, establishing Southend as a leading ‘Town by the Sea’. As the largest town in Essex with a population of 176,000 people, Southend attracts a consistently high footfall, with tourists, above average lifestyle shoppers from the local region, and members of the student populace amongst the regular patrons of this thriving cultural hub. As part of the major creative makeover by the new owners there will be a re-modeled covered walkway from the Victoria station with a new bus and train interchange for those coming into town.
